Interpretation

Interpreters convey speech from one language into another, preserving the content, intent, style, and tone of the original message. Having an interpreter is the best way to ensure clear and transparent communication across language barriers.

There are two “modes” of interpretation, consecutive and simultaneous. In consecutive mode, the interpreter listens to the speaker, waits for a pause, and then interprets the message into the other language. In simultaneous mode, there are no pauses. The interpreter listens in one language while speaking in the other language at the same time.

We will work with you do determine which mode of interpretation will be best for your needs based on the format of the event, number of participants, and number of languages involved.

Translation

Translation is the written counterpart to interpretation. We can translate anything you need from the source language to the language you want it in, and we can work with tight deadlines. No assignment is too big or too small.

Community Outreach

Our team of interpreters and translators know the communities we serve well. If you need to get the word out about events and programs, or share important information, we can make sure it reaches the people. Especially if you are offering interpretation for an event, it is well worth it to do some outreach beforehand so that the folks you intend to reach are there.

Learning another language is a life-changing experience that can open doors for intellectual and professional growth.
